On April 19, 2026, the average price of 24-carat gold in India is around ₹1,54,900 per 10 grams. The rate for 22-carat gold is close to ₹1,41,990 per 10 grams. Silver prices in local markets are around ₹2,59,210 per kg.
Jewellers are also offering deals like no making charges on selected items and small gift offers. However, buyers should remember that the final price of jewellery may be higher due to taxes and making charges.
There is a slight difference in gold rates across major cities. In Delhi, 24-carat gold is priced at ₹1,55,930 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold is at ₹1,42,920. In Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Hyderabad, prices are slightly lower at around ₹1,55,780 for 24-carat and ₹1,42,800 for 22-carat gold.
In Ahmedabad, gold is priced close to ₹1,55,830 per 10 grams. Chennai has the highest rates today, with 24-carat gold touching ₹1,56,660 per 10 grams.
Silver prices are mostly the same in major cities like Delhi, Mumbai and Ahmedabad, where it is selling at around ₹2,75,000 per kg. However, in southern cities like Chennai and Hyderabad, silver is slightly higher at about ₹2,80,000 per kg.
