The Mumbai One app has recorded more than 1.32 crore ticket bookings in around a year, bringing metro, suburban railway and bus ticketing services together on a single digital platform. Metro passengers account for the largest share of bookings, according to officials from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA).
Launched on October 8, 2025, the app was developed by MMRDA to make public transport more integrated across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Since its launch, it has recorded 1.32 crore ticket transactions and more than 9.19 lakh downloads.
The app allows commuters to book tickets for 11 public transport services across the region. Its growing use reflects the demand for a single platform that makes it easier to access different modes of transport.
Metro services account for the largest share of ticket bookings on the app. Passengers can book tickets for Metro Line 1 between Versova and Ghatkopar, Line 2A between Andheri West and Dahisar, Line 3 between Aarey and Cuffe Parade, Line 7 between Gundavali and Dahisar, Line 2B between Mandale and Dahisar, and Line 9 between Dahisar and Mira-Bhayandar.
Apart from metro services, the app also supports ticket booking for Mumbai’s suburban railway network and Navi Mumbai Metro Line 1.
Commuters can also use Mumbai One to book tickets for BEST buses, Thane Municipal Transport, Navi Mumbai Municipal Transport, Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Transport and Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Transport buses.
The platform had crossed the one-crore ticket booking mark within its first 10 months. It added over 30 lakh bookings in the following two months, taking the total beyond 1.32 crore.
The app aims to simplify daily travel by allowing passengers to access multiple transport services through one platform instead of using separate ticketing systems.
