Navi Mumbai Airport: Passengers travelling from Navi Mumbai International Airport to Mumbai and Pune will soon have a new public transport option. The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) is set to start its E-Shivai electric bus service from October 7, 2026.

The service will connect the airport with Dadar West, Borivali and Pune. This is expected to make travel more convenient for passengers and reduce their dependence on expensive cab services.

The bus service will offer direct connectivity from Navi Mumbai Airport to Pune. Buses will also operate towards Dadar West and Borivali.

The fare for the airport-to-Dadar journey will be ₹170. Passengers travelling to Borivali will have to pay ₹210, while the ticket for Pune will cost ₹450.

The E-Shivai bus to Dadar will operate via Sion and the Atal Setu. The Borivali service will also use the Atal Setu route.

Passengers will also be eligible for certain fare concessions. Children below 12 years of age and women travelling using the National Common Mobility Card will get a 50% fare discount.

The new service is expected to provide passengers with a more affordable way to travel between the airport and key destinations in Mumbai and Pune.

The government is also planning to introduce E-bus services connecting Navi Mumbai Airport with Thane and Nashik. These services are expected to begin in November.
